Jeffrey H. Greenwald, P.E., CAE

Is an association executive director with years of association management experience.

Jeff has successes in strategy development and execution, team building, negotiation, credentials management, marketing, public affairs and research and development. Jeff has written many publications and is an engaging communicator and serious listener.

Jeff was executive director of the Institute of Hazardous Materials Management (IHMM) where he directed programs that provide credentials to hazardous materials managers. His past experience also includes Executive Director at the North American Steel Sheet Piling Association, Vice President of Engineering and Product Development for the National Stone Sand & Gravel Association, and Vice President of Research and Development at the National Concrete Masonry Association, where Jeff was in charge of the Research and Development Laboratory.

Jeff is a registered professional engineer in Virginia. He graduated from the Institute for Organizational Management with a certificate in Nonprofit Organization Management and is a Certified Association Executive (CAE).

He earned a master’s of civil engineering degree from the University of Delaware and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Maine.

Jeff was awarded the ASTM Alan H. Yorkdale Memorial Award in 2004 and 2005.
